Television has always been a bit taboo in my family. My grandmother was one of those old fashioned ladies that was convinced that if you watch too much T.V. your eyes will become square. Growing up, both my parents worked full time, for at least a period of my childhood. Continue reading
It’s Friday and apparently I like Enrique…
So today has been a terrible day, despite being Friday. But, with the help of Enrique and Hendri, Junel was able to put this together to cheer us all up.
This may be the end of my social, well, social anything…but it is worth a good laugh. Sigh.
Profile #7 – The Intellectual

After a long break from regular writing, today has inspired me to keep to my word and make the next personality profile for my other sister Kendall. Unfortunately, she has committed digital suicide and with no Facebook account, I can’t get any photos of her. Silly girl. Continue reading

How beautiful are you…really?
I often think about perspective. It seems to me that it has to be up there with some of the most important things to think about. It really is one’s window into reality. What is reality but an individuals perspective? Continue reading
Nutritionist (n) – an expert on nutrition or anyone who disagrees with your eating choices

It is written as a dialogue between myself, as a boy, and my grandpa. He was a wise man indeed. Honest and caring and cheeky as hell. But he always gave the best advice. Advice, I always believe, is a dangerous thing to give. Yet he always did it with an air of caution. He never delegated advice, he always structured it so that it would benefit you no matter who you were or what your goals were. So this is a paraphrased dialogue with wisdom from both the father figures in my life. Continue reading
